Two tickets to Warriors v. Miami Heat.

Section 105, Row 23, Seats 1 and 2

Face Value- $150

Hi all. I have a work engagement tuesday night and because of it, I wouldn't be able to leave SF till 7:30, meaning I'd likely miss first half of the game

I'm willing to give anyone on GSoM these tickets for face value. Not interested in making money, just want a true fan to enjoy the game.

Seat 1 and 2 are closest to half court in section 105, and aisle seats (which is nice for a quick trip at time out).

Here's a pic from the seats!

nice seats but

If i remember correctly, its right behind the bench of the visiting team. You will find a lot more opposing yeah supporters here which can be quite annoying as i experienced in my one and only NBA earlier this year in April against the Lakers. It was my second day ever in the states and I just figured a few truck load of laker fans just travelled up for the game.. but turned out that Sanfran has quite a large Lakers following. Thank God we won the game and I gotta admit it so gives me goosebumps when I think about.. one of the best experiences ever!
Dude if i was there i woulda snapped em up yesterday! Goodluck with selling em, i don’t think you will have any problems.

Lakers fans

number one reason people dislike the Lakers…they just show up in droves everywhere

But that's awesome, isn't it?

I think it’d be great to have 15,000 Warrior fans at a Bucks game.

I chuckled when fans were chanting it when Ish was shooting FTs during the Philly game.

There are so many Lakers bandwagoners in the Bay Area.

Mainly because the Warriors’ been sucking the past two decades, these type of people can’t handle the losing and decide to just root for the Lakers since they’ve been doing so good. I swear, once the Warriors start winning (Like back in 2007) there’s a sudden boost in “Warriors fans” in the Bay. It’s like they only claim to be Warriors fans when the team wins. So annoying.

by Precise Films Productions on Jan 9, 2012 3:33 PM PST up reply actions

Lets be fair

That’s all sports fans to a degree-

Everyone loved the giants in 2010. They certainly weren’t getting that love in 2007.

by tafkasam on Jan 9, 2012 3:40 PM PST up reply actions

yeah

Most of my mates here are either Lakers, Miami, or Celtics fans. Warriors fanbase in Sydney is a rare commodity

by maryjane on Jan 9, 2012 3:40 PM PST up reply actions

I can’t understand being a Laker fan.

It’s no different than being a Yankees or Cowboys fan. The simple answer (if you’re not from the area or have some sort of family connection), you’re insecure and lame.

I can’t understand being a Laker fan.

you have to appreciate basketball history then it becomes clearer.

Says the sometimes Celtics fan?

Didn’t Chamillionaire already hit you with that one once?

If you’re not a Warriors fan, why is it any different if you’re a Clippers, Lakers, Suns, Thunder fan, or of any other team? Because they consistently beat a team that you don’t care about (the Warriors)? If you AREN’T a fan of the Warriors, that shouldn’t bother you.

And really, if you’re not going to root for the hometown team, what kind of masochist are to pick a team that sucks over a team that has been successful for almost their entire existence?

by Brownie13 on Jan 10, 2012 4:14 AM PST up reply actions

So?

What if I said I liked the Lakers because they can beat the Celtics? Hows that different?

It’s not a true statement, but if it were, it’d be no different.

Why's it annoying?

It’s like you don’t even acknowledge the existence of casual fans.

As with any sport (look at the Niners fan base explosion this year), when you win, it becomes easier to support, easier to enjoy, easier to talk crap, and just easier to be a fan. It never fails. Just because some people don’t care enough about a particular team to stick with them through the lows, doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Some people watch and enjoy sports without having a team they root for at all.

So all the hate that comes the way of the fans of the successful teams is just unwarranted. You can point to all of them, and say that they have casual fans paying attention, who really don’t know much, and try to pretend that they do. Again, without fail. But then we try to blame it on the fans that DO stick with their teams no matter what? That DO know their team? That have been with them for a decade? That love the guys who put their team’s jersey on their backs?

You refer to “bandwagon” Laker fans in the Bay. Nearly everyone here does. But no one ever references just “Laker fans.” You have to attach “bandwagon” to the front of it. Same goes for when we’re talking about Heat fans, or Celtics fans, or even now, OKC fans. I know plenty of people here that have NEVER been Warrior fans. That don’t swing their allegiance at all just because the Warriors make the playoffs.

It’s aggravating, because we, as a fan base, hate the success the Lakers have and what comes from it. The success we hope our franchise imitates. But what then, do we expect if we ever do accomplish that? We’re going to have the same types of fans. We have already sort of had that for a while. Do you know how many people view us as their “2nd team” around the NBA because of the exciting style we USED to play? We’re one of the rare terrible NBA teams (excluding Nets for their suckiness for obvious reasons) with any sort of non-local fan support.

So I just can’t understand being annoyed at what is the natural cycle and reaction of the casual American sports fan. I love it when we’re successful. I love it when it brings out MORE LOVE for my team. It’s absolutely awesome. I remember being able to walk down the street after our playoff run and see Warriors gear more than I ever have in my life. I don’t care that it came from “used-to-be” fans of other teams. I don’t care that it might not last. I care that it’s there, and my guys on the court are getting the local and national recognition they deserve.

Hey man I’d love to take these tickets – my email is leediles@gmail.com. Thanks!

by deff bridges on Jan 9, 2012 1:21 PM PST reply actions

@deff bridges – do you plan on driving? If you do, lemme know and I might have a parking pass I can give you. I’m not going to the game and if none of my friends claim the parking pass, you can have it.

I’ll be taking BART, but the offer is much appreciated.

Thanks.

They changed the parking passes this season. Now each parking pass is assigned to a specific game, so I have no use for the pass if I’m not going to the game. I figure I’ll offer it to any of my friends going, or if none of them claim it, then I can offer it to a fellow GSOM member. It’s no loss to me, and I figure I can help someone save $18.

I need to sell my tickets too

I wasnt going to post this on here because it felt kinda spamy, but this seems like a good place and I really need to get rid of my tickets as well.
I have 2 tickets for tonights Heat game in Section 126, Row 21. Face value of the tickets are $135 each. I’d like to get that amount for the tickets, but Im willing to take a little less.

Sorry you had to work last night.

You missed a great game, hopefully you were able to catch it on the tube. At least your tickets ended up in the hands of a W’s fan.

by Pippen on Jan 11, 2012 1:53 PM PST reply actions

Caught the game from the 2nd quarter on

I just had a meeting that didn’t end till 8 pm. I wouldn’t have made it to oracle till 9pm. Which sadly… would have still totally been worth it

by tafkasam on Jan 11, 2012 3:53 PM PST up reply actions

At least you were able to watch it on TV

Not as good as being there, but still pretty damn exciting.
