The post-season is not the only drought

Are the Warriors finally getting close to having a player (or players) in the All Star game? This answer, like so many others, depends on the health of certain ankles.

And this is not a trivial designation. The more elite players the team has (or the perception of elite as denoted by the "All Star" label), the easier it becomes to attract other top talent.

Getting to the playoffs is great. But having an All Star could also be part of the team becoming the destination for top talent.

Sure, nothing communicates quality and attracts attention like simply winning. But are there any consistent winners without All Stars?

Will the Warriors have an All Star this year?
