We had heard the same story for years, to the point where I no longer believed it was believable. Coach Whomever and General Manager Someguy promised: Defense was going to be emphasized. Rebounding was going to be emphasized. The team was going to be tougher. They were going to win games on that end of the floor. Well, I wasn't falling for it again!
