Warriors at Clippers: Postgame Interviews (11/3/12) by Warriors
Mark Jackson
Overall thoughts on the game:
“We had to find a way to contain them. Great players make great adjustments. We tried a little something different and we had to trust our defense. A great job by David [Lee] on the perimeter and great job by Stephen [Curry]. It was just a great win for us. I am extremely proud of my guys.”
On the team's overall effort:
“We don’t quit, we had every reason to quit. We gutted it out and we defended. Everybody played a roll.”
Overall the team's final defensive play:
“We were just trying to keep them in front of us. The only concern we really had was [Chris] Paul stepping back and shooting the three. It was picture perfect defense.”
Stephen Curry
Overall thought's on the game:
“It was a great win. We played against a very great basketball team with some special plays. And I’m proud of my guys, they battled every step of the way.”
On executing against the Clippers:
“Obviously they were at home and they were going to keep pushing, but we just found a way to grind it out and make big plays in the fourth quarter and force them into tough shots. We had to do our best to fight them off.”
Overall the importance of tonight's win
“This is big for us. We didn’t get a rhythm early. I know the strength of our team is staying strong and making big plays at the end. This is a good feeling for us especially with our situation.”

What's next?
- We head straight to Sacramento without stopping home to keep the road trip going. The Kings are winless. We SHOULD beat them.
