Dexter Fishmore of Silver Screen & Roll posted a table of stats from tonight's game between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers and the numbers look about as ugly as the game was.

The Los Angeles Lakers announced today that they have fired head coach Mike Brown after less than 82 regular season games with the team. With the Lakers at 1-4 entering tonight's game with the Golden State Warriors, it was really not a question of whether they'd end up firing Brown but when and how likely it was that he'd be able to avoid that fate.
Prior to today's big announcement and in anticipation of the Warriors' game against the Lakers tonight, I contacted SB Nation's Silver Screen and Roll to get their take on the team's performance thus far, what's gone wrong, former Warrior Antawn Jamison's role in their struggles, and what exactly their primary gripes with Brown were.

Asst. Coach Bernie Bickerstaff will coach tonight's game vs. GS but the Lakers will conduct a national search to replace Mike Brown.

So that adds an interesting storyline to tonight's game. And on the firing itself, it's hard to disagree with Magic Johnson's assessment of the situation.
