Houston always has a way of making things work...
except that gasol/paul trade….Morey is a great GM, one of the best…..I’m surprised when I hear the names being thrown around….I didn’t realize the the Rockets have a flaming poo poo tray of Draft busts lingering on their 15 man. Jordan Hill, Hasheem Thabeet, Johnny Flynn, Terrence Williams, and Patrick Patters (jury still out)….how did Morey become the Bust Collector? It’s just strange.

They were all buy low guys. Patterson had a very nice rookie year, by the way.

He gets some decent cheap role players
But if he was as awesome as most think they’d be better , given the Yao situation though.
RIP Al Davis

He bought low on interesting guys with potential.
If even one works out, he comes out way ahead.
And Patterson doesn’t belong on that list. One, he’s actually a Houston draft pick and, secondly, he’s pretty solid.

They had an agreement witH Nene if they got Pau
Lowry, Lee, Budinger, Nene, Gasol looks like a playoff team. Especially if they added wing depth.
Houston able to get
Bigs like Dalembert, Jordan HillThabeet, Kaman; and players we don’t mind to get such as T Will, Patterson, or even Jonny Flynn (as a 3rd PG ?!). This is just not fair.

I can’t decipher whether you’re saying that being able to get bigs like Jordan Hill and Hasheem Thabeet is a good or a bad thing….

What do you guys think of Biyombo at this juncture? How about Kanter?
To me, Biyombo is still all potential. At the same time, Charlotte has got to be an awful team to develop with. I mean they are terrible, yet he’s getting barely any minutes coming off the bench for Diop???
Kanter, on the other hand, is developing very nicely. 12.5 pts/36 and 12.9rebs/36 is exceptional. I don’t think his offensive game is anywhere near where it’s capable of being (potentially a great post player and midrange shooter). He’s someone I’d give up more value for in a trade. Initially, he would be a great addition to our bench playing alongside Udoh.

Perhaps
Warriors get: Kanter, Reddick, Orlando’s 2012 first
Utah gets: Anderson
Orlando gets: Ellis

Orlando would do it to convince Howard to resign.
Utah is sold on Anderson’s stats and sees it as an upgrade at the bench 4.
I’m just throwing it out there.

Me: So who (from the 2011 draft class) compares with (Anthony) Davis?
J-Ridah: Biyombo
If it meant Howard resigning, I would.

Anderson's good but overrated
Being a stretch 4 with dwight Howard is really easy. Defensively he masked a lot of Anderson’s short comings.
Really, what do you think Orlando would be if Howard just walks? 25-30 win team?
They’d look like Cleveland when Bron walked. Just awful.

Utah would NEVER do that trade.
Kanter was the 3rd pick in the last draft for Christ’s sake… And you think they’re going to give him up for Ryan Anderson? Really?!
yeah this won't happen
esp. with Utah having Millsap and Favors already at PF… plus, they would have to give up their 3rd pick in Kanter? No way
Kanter's been excellent so far.

Watched a few possessions with Kanter tonight. Looked good the couple times he got involved in the offense. Disappeared at times, but I think some of that is probably on their guards. With Devin Harris forgetting how to play basketball, they don’t really have guards that run offense very effectively there right now.
