Watching this killed me a little inside
I mean, this kid was GOOD. He could drive, finish, hit his FTs, go up and get putbacks. Its really a shame for Biedrins because he had a great career ahed of him. Something serious is wrong because I can’t remember a player with that skill level deteriorate so quickly into what Andris is today. Idk if its drugs, alcohol, or some emotional thing but he needs help.

there’s not much to it
also, it’s really sad that this ONE highlight keeps coming back up…yeah, it’s nice and all, but he’s been around for long enough that we should have seen this exact play multiple times

He once used to drive to the hoop from the top of the key. He used to do a lot of things. Like spike his hair.
There is a correlation between the timing of his hairstyle change and the deterioration of his play.

Sad.
I remember during this time they would show Nate Thurmond’s record on that big ticker thing in the arena as Biedrins was posting up double-doubles every night.
Biedrins came in this season in great shape and looking ready to roll
then, the games started and he reverts to running from the ball and hiding on offense. He needs some tough love, what else could be lost? They should tell the team to give him the ball on EVERY play when he is on the block and MAYBE he will regains his desire to play and be a force. He is the biggest underacheiver in Warriors history!!!! And that is saying alot
