Adam Lauridsen interviews Joe Lacob
Very interesting interview. Lacob got a little testy at times and Adam didn't hold anything back.

Both sides here are right.
Adam was asking all the right questions and bringing up many of the points we’ve debated here. I would have liked him to ask about Monta’s potential trade value a bit though.
Lacob is also right, they have worked extremely hard and have tried their best but they also under estimated how difficult it would be to turn this ship around. We came super close to signing Chandler, and if we had a healthy Kwame we would probably be about .500 right now – but it is what it is.
rec'd, yet another must-read from Lauridsen
I am still ok with the new ownership group.
Yeah, many/most of us would have probably known going into the season that we need a serious roster overhaul, but I completely understand these guys wanting to give the team some time as-is before pulling the trigger on a major deal.
Still, it makes me happy to see Lacob squirm under the harsh lights of reality

More or less, I feel the same
I’d have liked to see more changes on the top though. It seems the doctrine is still, we want to improve but we don’t want to give anything of value up.
Someone from the outside, might see ’it’s flawed, so lets burn it down and then build it up’
How can you not like Joe Lacob? Does anybody feel he’s being dishonest? Does anybody believe he’s not trying to make this team a winning organization? GSW fans are lucky to have such a passionate and vocal owner of their team.

Love the passion
Mistakes are inevitable. Cuban made a billion early on. Key is learning from them. So, yeah, while i think he’s made mistakes.
I’d rather have mistakes with effort and desire to improve, than complacency of the status quo a la cohan

+1
There seems to be some significant trouble around here differentiating between legitimate criticism and “haterizm”

Joe: I’m not telling fans to wait for success
Adam: But you just said they should wait like two seconds ago
.
.
Joe: People just need to be patient, this stuff takes time
Adam: Oh, brother
J-RIDAH: Its not 1 player in this draft better than Monta or Lee. Anthony Davis is no different than Al Farouq Aminu. Andre Drummond could be good but he is not impressive at this point at all besides his size. This draft is hella overated.
(JaVale) Mcgee is better than anybody in this draft.
