"Who runs the best practices?"- Henry Abbott
"DOn Nelson!"- Al Harrington
"Why's that?"- Abbott"Just cause, it was always scrimmages, throw the ball, and run up and down"- TNMT

Ahh...my mistake
It doesn’t really sound like Nellie was very active in running it either though.
My favorite class in elementary school was recess.
I didn’t really learn much though.

Yeah.
“Just throw the ball and run” doesn’t sound like the sort of practice that would result in things like a coherent offense, disciplined play, etc.
except we had an amazing offense back then....soo...
You know I spit technique to the freshest freak
Gimme a call you will see results in just a week

Is there a heaven for a Rap Cat, let's talk
Are you saying our team didn't have a coherent offense with Harrington around?

Well, kinda.
But we had Baron, which is to say we had a player who really understood how to distribute the ball well, and could create a lot of offense on his own.
(Responding to both you and Losthawk)
And when we got stuck in the half-court game, our offense got mediocre fast. Our offense back then was built on chaos, create a 3-on-3 or even a 3-on-4 where the defense isn’t set. When we were forced to play a slow-down, half-court game against set defense, we struggled mightily.
i disagree
sometimes consistent scrimmage is the perfect key to building chemistry and adapting to roster changes. its the best way to for players to understand their teammates games in a non-pressure enviroment
It's lonely being the only Warriors fan at UMass :(
I agree.
Like Coach Jackson said, there’s a lot of “fake hustle” in practices that don’t do much good.

Depends how he was feeling that day
If he had his favorite dog with him etc…(how many glasses of scotch he had for breakfast …if he was hanging out with Woody Harrelson and Willie Nelson…if he was awake…if Cohan was watching)
Nellie would have this team at 12-8...
…but that’s subjective.
