wow, I really wish the Warriors could've signed this guy...

haha nah but I’m proud of him, hopefully we see more games like from him soon

didnt

we cut him to try and go after Tyson Chandler and now they’re playing together

Incredible

can’t believe we let him get away

I think he penetrated more times in that one game than Curry has in his career

Read my Advanced Stats Primer

J-RIDAH: Its not 1 player in this draft better than Monta or Lee. Anthony Davis is no different than Al Farouq Aminu. Andre Drummond could be good but he is not impressive at this point at all besides his size. This draft is hella overated.

(JaVale) Mcgee is better than anybody in this draft.

i'm more impressed that he completely dominated deron

"Can't believe we let him get away"

It was one game. Don’t read into it too much. Anthony Tolliver had some good games as a Warrior too. Can you believe we let him get away?

Amen brother...

Curry doesn’t penetrate at all…. (PAUSE) which is why we have to make a trade…we need a taller J. Lin type player with a better shooting touch.

i bet if we had like the 6th pick, we still would have picked klay

Why Blame Smart?

He didn’t have the option of developing players for furture seasons, it was all or nothing. The only way he was going to save his job was to get to the playoffs and he definatley got closer than this years team looks to get.

I don’t get why Smart is much maligned. Mark Jackson is doing less with more and we may fall behind Sacramento if he doesn’t figure things out.

Can't blame Smart on this one.

I wanted the starters to play fewer minutes and develop rookies last season & this season. However, for Smart it was obvious he was gonna be fired unless that Warrior’s team accomplished something special.

JEREMY LIN HAD A GREAT STAT LINE FOR ONE GAME.

LET’S TRADE CURRY AND TWO FUTURE 1ST ROUND PICKS FOR LIN. we might have to throw in klay and udoh though. and take back one of NY’s bad contracts. I mean it’s Jeremy Lin we’re talking about.

hards Knicks is thinking about starting Lin today

… and late delayed Davis return about a week because of Lin.

Starting backcourt: Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields

The smartest backcourt to ever play professional basketball?

Good Job

but lets calm down a little before we crown him the MVP of the league.

Even pitchers hit home runs now and then, doesn’t mean they should be in the line up on the regular

Knick fan here

I’ve been clamoring for D’antoni to play Lin down the stretch for a couple of weeks now. The reason for that is not that Jeremy Lin is an all-star talent, it’s just that the Knicks’ point guard options are a washed up Mike Bibby, a rookie who’s not a natural distributor, and Toney Douglas, who is a decent undersized 2 guard and nice guy but beyond awful as a floor leader.

By the way, I thought you guys cut him to sign DeAndre Jordan to that big offer sheet.. no?

yes

we released Lin, rescinded reggie williams offer, and amnestied charlie bell to snag Jordan and/or “whatever we could get,” which later turned out to be kwame. If only we amnestied Biedrins we could of at least kept Lin. I believe a deciding factor for us to cut him was that our 2nd draft pick Jenkins had an NBA body already and probably showed Lin up during our 1 week of training camp. I’m interested to see who is going to have a better career down the line between those 2 PGs.

You guys also don't have a lot of free minutes at guard

For what it’s worth, Jenkins seemed to me to be a guy that would be a good bet to be a steal in the second round. I don’t see much difference between him and Jimmer Fredette. Don’t know if Jenkins will get a sustained shot with you guys, but I think there’s a good chance Jenkins will be a solid NBA player, probably as a 2 guard.

How has he looked so far?

Jenkins

just as you note, the minutes aren’t there for him ; he virtually never subs in for Ellis, who still leads the teams in floor time, with Thompson and Rush on the rotation queue. Robinson has established himself as the floor leader of the hyped reserve unit, which has pushed Jenkins to the realm of twelfth man. when he had playing time, Jenkins was ultraconservative, needing to please the coach. 3 turnovers to 22 assists, .500 shooting but only one 3 pt. attempt. agree with you, he could surpass Fredette if he had similar minutes.

we need a PG with better defense, better ball distrubator

things like pick and roll, drive and kick, and NO TURNOVER. Rest of the stuffs are just nice to have.

by ILoveWarriorsGirls on Feb 6, 2012 6:30 PM PST up reply actions

I don't think Jenkins had a chance to show Lin up

Lin was released on the first day of training camp

Yeah

You’re right. The way things work out sometimes..

Postgame interview answers remind me of...

Our one and only Monta. Then again I dont recall us hearing a postgame interview from him while as a warrior since he was never a major factor in a win so maybe he usually just focuses on the team.
