Today is the anniversary of his big game from when the Warriors played in Philly. When I read he grabbed 55 boards in a game, I almost fell out of my seat. Maybe the NBA feels if you trade one of the best centers to ever play the game, you don't get another great center EVER AGAIN! If the Warriors get a great center in my lifetime, I will be amazed. I'm pretty sure when the Warriors had the first pick, David Stern looked at the card and it said Kevin Garnett, he snickered to himself and said the Golden State Warriors pick Joe Smith. :-)
