Ok so we all know by now that the Warriors aren't making the playoffs, and as strange as it sounds we would all like to see the team tank so that we can keep our top 7 protected pick. I know the rest of the season is gonna suck but lets look to next year and see what we have and what we will be working with.

SG- Klay

SF-Dorell/Jefferson

PF-Lee

C-Bogut/Biedrins/Tyler

That puts us at about 52 mill in salary with the salary cap being around 58 mill for the upcoming season. So we obviously have some holes to fill at the 2 and 4 positions.

It looks to me like with only 6 mill remaining our hands are slightly tied, and we will probably be unable to keep BRush, who is having a great year, and will probably get a nice contract and possibly a starting role somewhere else. Not to mention we still have Dorell/Jeff and less of a need at the 3 whereas we had no backup 3 coming into this year. I think we should definitely be able keep Dom McGuire maybe give him a 2 year deal for 5 mill? which fills the backup 4 role. After that sign our rookies, to round out our team. Looks to me like we have a pretty clear vision of what our team will look like next year. I don't forsee any other major moves that could upgrade this team. I do know that we have a 4 mill trade exception from the Bogut trade. Anyone else out there know what other possibilities there are?? I'm not sure what the deal with the MLE is, or if the Warriors could use it to keep Rush maybe?? What other possibilities, or players out there that are attainable via free agency that could help us fill some of these spots?? What do you guys think the Warriors will look like next year??
