Postgame Quotes and Stuff from warriors.com recap
On Today's Loss:
"We found ourselves a way to get back in this game and give ourselves a chance. We understand we couldn't win a checkers match right now, we are not good enough. We have to stick to the game plan work extremely hard and execute on both sides of the basketball. When we're able to do that, good things happen."
On Klay Thompson:
"He is going to be a heck of a player and already he is pretty good. This summer is going to be big for him, and the playing time this year has been very valuable for him. He continues to not be satisfied with his outings so he is going to be pretty special."
On Nate Robinson:
"I thought he was very good, he battled defensively, and offensively he was in attack mode. He is a spot player and he has taken full advantage of the opportunity."
On Coming back and Making It A Close Game:
"Slow starts like that kill us. It is all on us rookies to come out and play with a lot of energy. There is no quit in us, we were missing three franchise players, Stephen [Curry], Andrew [Bogut], and Richard Jefferson. This was a learning experience especially for us rookies. We are improving but defensively we have to get a lot better."
On Playing Time This Year:
"When other guys are playing good you have to be a good teammate and cheer them on. When a guy is playing good he is going to get the minutes out there because he gives us the best chance to win. I am a team player and a team person but after that I just have to work on my game. I am just lucky to be in the position that I am now in the starting lineup and getting minutes. I have worked very hard to get to where I am today and when I am out there I try my very best to play my hardest."
On Playing In The Fourth Quarter For Only The Second Time This Month:
"Our units go with how well guys are playing. So we just have to roll with what coach decides. He is the coach and I am a player so all I can do is work on my game and get better every day."
(after the game)
gswscribe: The Warriors have 5 small forwards on their roster. The one they have to keep is Dominic McGuire. That may cost them about $3 million per year. That's what other defensive specialists such as Tony Allen and Thabo Sefolosha makes. It may also cost the Warriors Brandon Rush or Dorell Wright, unless they are able to move Richard Jefferson. Hard to envision Golden State bring back McGuire, Rush, Dorell, Jefferson AND Chris Wright. Three SFs are enough.
warriors: UPDATE: Andris Biedrins left today's game in 3rd qtr & was diagnosed by LAC doctors after game w/ a mild concussion... (1/2)
warriors: Biedrins is listed as day-to-day & must be cleared according to NBA's concussion policies before returning to action. (2/2)
KCsFinest4: We keep fighting.
- Andris Biedrins suffered a mild concussion in the 3rd qtr. Check the Warriors tweets for more info.
- 7 games to go. Warriors will travel home for the Spurs and then FINALLY play a game without travel against the Lakers. The Spurs play the Lakers after us, so they might rest their players against us.

That was an exciting (not really), intense (not really), down to the final play (not really) game. And the tank is still going (really).
