With it seeming more and more like Andre Drummond will fall in the draft, the Hornets have to love the idea of pairing Drummond and Anthony Davis to be their froncourt of the future. However, I'd be shocked if Drummond was still on the board at 10, with Toronto and Detroit looking like good fits for him. So, I came up with this trade so the Hornets would be able to get him, if he were to fall.
New Orleans gets: Pick #7, Andris Biedrins
Golden State gets: Trevor Ariza, Jarrett Jack, Hornets top 3 protected 1st next year
Why it makes sense (to me): For the Hornets: They are able to get a long, talented frontcourt in Drummond and Davis. For the Warriors: They shed a large contract that basically rides the bench, while gaining a future pick, a fantastic defender in Ariza that can shut down the other team's top scorer every night, and a great backup to Steph Curry in Jarrett Jack, who can start if Curry gets injured, as he does have injury issues.
