Bogut / Leonard Twin Towers for W's?

Stay connected for news and updates

5 hours and counting down ... last chance to get my 2 cents in ... Meyers Leonard ... posted the quoted portion below in response to Evanz' Jerry West dark horse candidate post last week, but to reiterate and expand ...

"Leonard has the physical tools, and appears to have the dedication also … active / ambidextrous at the rim / strong / still very young … potential to exceed Bogut … would give W’s a geniune twin tower option, or even quasi triple towers w/ Lee at point forward (would admittedly require zone on defense if triple towers) … Leonard could be the sleeper of 2012 draft …"

To expand further, the W's at #7 are situated to go for the Twin Towers scenario ... it is difficult and rare to be able to form Twin Towers that can really be on the court for extended periods ... but Leonard appears to have the athleticism, and especially the dedication and hopefully the B-Ball IQ to make it work with Bogut (not sure Drummond would be able to do it even with his athleticism) ... think Parish / McHale or Robinson / Duncan ... I know that's a real stretch, but Bogut / Leonard would at least be close to and maybe even more physical than current tandems of Bynum / PGasol or MGasol / Randolph ...

We have alternatives at SG and SF that are close to what we could get at #7 or in trade ... but this potential Twin Towers opportunity is rare, and I hope the W's go for ...
