Don't get me wrong, I love this guy, but the Warriors need insurance for Steph Curry. If he goes down, we need a semi-established PG who can run the team and play starter minutes, not Roy, a player coming off retirement because of degenerative knee problems.
Roy is a veteran, a good ball handler, distributer and a tough nosed guy. He's also a big question mark. That's why I say pass on this one.
I think we need to do everything we can to look at players like Kidd, Felton, Miller, Calderon, Lowry, etc. Whether it be via free agency or trade.
The Warriors I think will actually be okay in the front court with Ezeli, Green, Tyler, Biedrins. I don't think we need to sign a free agent 4/5. We need to focus all attention to the backup PG position.
