Much has been said of GS's possible new cornerstone, most revolving around injury. What i want to know is: Can Andrew do anything to minimize the risk of further injury....on the court?
Here's what i remember about the days after the trade. After awhile i asked myself, "while the party line/probable reality is that Bogut's injuries have been of the fluke variety, try to stay objective, SSC (using third person in honor of NBA players on hoops blog,) could it be he plays in a way that somewhat invites, or doesn't enough avoid the risk of, injury?"
So i looked at a bunch of, as i'm sure all of you did, video of Bogut.
Did anyone else notice he loves to swing on the rim? I know it's usually within the running, the play involved....but kind of not too. It seems he could be just as effective and athletic (and stylish on his dunks) with a bit more care around the rim with all those bodies and especially feet to land on.
So please. Andrew. I hope this gets to you in good will, as intended mate. Cannot wait and know you can't either, as none of us can (must calm out that eagerness, have to stay humble until the results are there...Go Warriors!)
