The Lakers are no longer trying to retain point guard Ramon Sessions, who opted out of the final year and $4.55 million of his contract to become a free agent, a source told ESPNLosAngeles.com's Ramona Shelburne.

I don't know the details of our cap situation, but we should try to make a run at him if possible now that Miller is off the market. This also probably means that they will sign Hill bc I remember they weren't going to bc they had to pay for Sessions instead. Steve Nash S&T to Lakers
