I understand that the Warriors had the opportunity to do so before last season, after the lockout, and chose not to. Why can't they do it now? Clearly, they have no interest or incentive to play him, and getting rid of his $9 mil would give the Dubs lots of salary cap flexibility, wouldn't it? I admit to being wholly ignorant of the intricacies of the new CBA and salary cap issues, so I'm hoping a more knowledgeable GSoM'er can educate me....
