Is this the best offseason we've ever had?

Signed Jarret Jack and Carl Landry. Resigned Rush. Picked up three rookies in the draft that could actually be meaningful role players down the road. Didn't pay anyone insane money they didn't deserve.

I know we need to temper any optimism about this club with the truth that ankles, and injuries in general, are the lynchpin to the season and really the future. But I keep seeing these moves and thinking "yes, good pick up, good contract," etc. And that's not a feeling I've had in a while. It certainly feels like a coming out party for the new ownership and management.

So, to anyone with a longer memory than mine—have we ever had an offseason that went this well before? I certainly can't think of one.
