Since Bogut has recently been cleared for 1on1 contact and expected to be cleared for full 5on5 contact in a week or so if all holds up we can finally imagine the big picture of this Warriors team. Assuming he comes back at 100%; even if it takes him a little while to get into full game shape and slowly work into 30+ minutes this is great news for the team and Warriors fans. Looking at the current picture eve given the Warriors current streak of losses (most coming at the hands of top-tier teams) , a playoff spot is very likely albeit not yet guaranteed barring any major loss due to injury. The way the playoff picture is shaping up especially given Houston running into a wall recently and assuming Portland will hang around and fight for a spot with Utah, the Lakers, and a rising New Orleans (although they may be in to deep of a hole) The Warriors should finish at worst with a 6-seed. Meaning a first round matchup will most likely pit the Warriors against either San Antoni, the Clippers, or Memphis. Denver also stands a chance as a likely opponent, but it's an outside chance. Of those teams; the Warriors currently match up best with the Clippers and San Antonio than they do Memphis or Denver considering the current size advantage downlow. Memphis being our toughest matchup out of the group. A healthy Bogut coming back into the mix tightens the gap against all of those opponents and makes us pretty evenly matched with Memphis. Not predicting a 1st-round advancement by any means, but what I am saying is, a healthy Bogut gives the Warriors a chance at at least the thought of that. Which is much better than where we stand now without Bogut, making the playoffs and most likely a first round knockout. So a good sign moving forward
