"To play us out? What does that mean, to play us out !!? We'll do it live!!!"
Now in all seriousness...The Golden State Warriors are having a great season, despite the obvious setbacks and starting TWO rookies we are currently in the #5 spot in a superior conference. Thank Jebus for a deep draft where we picked up 2 studs in the 30's! This draft class is playing out to be the best since 2003, like many of us knew it probably would.
And with a good season for the Dubs comes less posts and crazy trade ideas on GSOM. Personally, like most of you, I like seeing what all of us wannabe future GMs think we need to do to get better, and what players from other teams you covet. But, like all of you hopefully, I'll take winning over blogging.
So since there isn't as much to post or complain about, I'd like to see what the NBA League Pass and fantasy basketball fans think of all the potential that is coming out of this last draft class. Personally, I only see some of the games on TNT, ESPN, and an occasional stream online. So here is my 2012 Re-Draft (Lottery version). Keep in mind this first one is what players have shown thus far, and players on bad teams will sometimes get ranked higher.
3) Bradley Beal
5) Dion Waiters
8) Festus Ezeli
9) Tyler Zeller
11) John Henson
12) Andrew Nicholson
13) Jared Sullinger or Draymond Green
Need to give Draymond some love for his D and for helping put the Heat away on the road. Okay, here's the debatable part...Re-draft "5" years from now. Who I think the studs will be, and the top 6 could easily be stars.
1) Anthony Davis
2) Harrison Barnes
3) Andre Drummond
4) Bradley Beal
5) Dion Waiters
6) Damian Lillard
7) Terrence Ross
8) Maurice Harkless
10) Jared Sullinger
11) Thomas Robinson
12) Jeremy Lamb
13) Meyers Leonard or Festus Ezeli
Had to throw Festus in there, he's gonna be good, and is already helping our team greatly.
BTW, I'm so glad we took the season series from the Clips today! Of all the teams I loath, the 2 I dislike the most are from smelly-ass So-Cal. Screw Griffin, Kobe, D12, and Clipper Darrell! The Bay area rules pro sports!!
