I have a new NBA crush, and his name is Kent Bazemore.
The other day, deep in 'garbage time', #20 checked in for the Golden State Warriors. I immediately was drawn to him. I couldn't take my eyes off this dude.
Kent Bazemore is a lefty guard with freakishly long arms and seemingly always erect posture. He instantly reminded me of another former Warrior, Terry Teagle, only with a much better handle.
Kent is a 23-year old rookie guard out of Old Dominion, hardly a basketball hotbed. After spending some time in the D-League, coach Mark Jackson decided it was time to give the kid some run.
While he hasn't played any meaningful minutes yet, I'm convinced it's only a matter of time before he does. Kent seems to do everything effortlessly out there, whether it's scoring or passing. He's a more athletic version of Stephen Jackson.
If not, oh well.
