I know we are all excited about this year's team, and I believe in most of the kool-aid we're all drinking in regards to the expectations of the dubs. I am not however drinking the Harrison Barnes kool-aid. Before I go any further, I'd just like to say that I do love Barnes on our team, and think he has the chance to be something special long term. With that said I don't see the stars aligning this year for him. I'm fully convinced that most of us here are expecting a big-year/6th man of the year possibly, but I just don't see it. Obviously this is just my opinion, and I'm not going to go research any stats to support my claim, but I just want to caution us Warriors fans to not get too hyped on Barnes. I think we will see alot of the same out of Barnes this year, where he has these games and makes plays that are jaw-dropping, and then those games where he completely disappears. He will make strides defensively, but his offensive efficiency will drop with more responsibility. The dubs best line-up is Curry Klay Igoudala Lee Bogut, and if last year is any indication Mark Jackson will ride his guys, especially at the end of games. I actually see Barnes playing more like 25 mins per game because of this. Sorry to be a buzzkill, I just don't want us all to be heart-broken when we see that Barnes still has a ways to go. That injury isn't helping either. I seriously hope I am wrong about everything I just said and everybody gets to call me out when Barnes balls out this year.
