In the wake of what is heating up to be "Iggy-Gate" and in the aftermath of the infamous Denver-mole, should the NBA do a full investigation into the Denver/GSW playoff series, and if the allegations are found true that their was a conspiracy to do bodily injury to players like Stephen Curry and possibly Andrew Bogut and others should the NBA then impose fines and bans on those players along with any in upper management that had knowledge of their intentions?
Its illegal to start with, no different than assault and battery to conspire and engage in bodily injury to another player, if they had pulled it off and it was later revealed to be true then those players would be liable and subject to lawsuits…and your talking about millions of dollars if indeed they were to end Curry’s or another players career intentionally…
The New Orleans Saints or should we say devils ;) were punished by the NFL for engaging in that kind of unsportsmanlike conduct, I believe it cost them draft picks and fines and even suspensions…that would be a strong message to teams like Denver who because they didn’t have the talent to compete at that level tried to resort to dirty play and illegal tactics..
If indeed Iguodala did leak their plot to intentionally injure Curry and other players then he had every right to expose it and to distance himself from it, it takes some real scumbags to resort to those kind of tactics in this day and age….
Also the NBA should give Iguodala a good sportsmanship award for not going along with the kind of behavior that could harm the NBA brand world wide.
Seems their fan base is so obsessed over the possible Denver-mole being Iguodala along with realizing they weren't what they thought they were that they have lost all sight of right and wrong, how can anyone justify trying to end a players career intentionally and condone such bad sportsmanship? It don’t speak well for their team or their fan base.
