Warriors (5-3) vs Thunder (5-2)
Arena: Roaracle
Tip-Off: 7:30pm
Blog Buddy: Welcome to Loud City
Through 8 games, the Warriors have totalled 5 wins and 3 losses. It's amazing that through 8 games the Warriors have already been involved in 7 blowouts. There's been fun ones where the Warriors beat the Lakers on opening night and other outings like the 18 point loss in Memphis that weren't quite as fun.
I'll just remember this though...
Fun to see the Warriors beat the Lakers on a last second 30 pointer!

Tonight is obviously a huge test. Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and the OKC Thunder are bad. Very BAD- and I mean that in the best way possible. They're athletic, high flying, battle-tested, and incredibly fun to watch. I only caught the end of the Thunder-Clipper game last night, but the Thunder looked uncharacteristically sloppy and un-clutch in the closing few minutes. I'd be surprised if they don't rebound from that outing and come out in full force tonight for a full 48 minutes.
Do the Warriors really got next in the West? A blowout win tonight on national TV would definitely convince hoops nation. A close win will do of course.
Tonight's Start Four
Here's my four tonight and why:
- Jermaine O'Neal: Jermaine got his groove back against the Pistons interior and should get some good minutes tonight. I still can't believe the Warriors have the luxury of O'Neal's interior D off the bench. He's the Warriors best backup center since... Adonal Foyle?!
- Andre Iguodala: I'm definitely intrigued by the 11 dimes the other night playing the second option at the point.
- Serge Ibaka: I'm expecting shot rejections, not player ejections.
- Harrison Barnes: There's no better time for his first big breakout performance of the season tonight at home on TNT. Plus Atma Sister #1 is a big fan.
