Four teams are fighting for the bottom 3 playoff spots in the West. We're sitting on top at the #6 spot, and we like the view here. We have a day off today, but the other 3 teams are playing tonight. So our chances of both making the playoffs and staying at #6 could increase tonight. It's a perfect night to scoreboard watch.
Cavaliers @ Rockets, 5:00 PDT
Don't worry. Luke Walton off the bench will lead the Cavaliers to victory over the Rockets!
The Cavaliers won't have their top 3 scorers today. Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, and Sideshow Bob are all expected to be out. Unless the Rockets really just suck, they should win this game. No help for us.
Jazz @ Spurs, 5:30, PDT
Tony Parker will be back. And just like that, the Jazz chances of winning went from zero to none.
Hahahaha! Do I really need to write anything? While a Jazz loss increases our chances of clinching a playoff spot, it also increases the chances of the Lakers making the playoffs. Oh well.
Wizards @ Lakers, 7:30pm PDT
Hey Kobe, just take an extra day off for that ankle, would ya?
Here's hoping this game goes into quadruple OT, with the Wizards coming out on top. Then we can slice right through the Wizards tomorrow. The Lakers haven't played since Monday, and might get Kobe and Pau Gasol back. Argh, scratch that thought.
