While watching CSN's live broadcast of Curry's incredible 3rd quarter run in game 4, I noticed something a bit odd. When Curry pulled up for his patented fast break 3 pointer with about a minute left in the quarter, Lawson appeared to have strategically placed his feet directly under Curry perhaps hoping to re-injure his surgically repaired ankle and finally take our red-hot and best player out of the game for good. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, I thought, but upon seeing another angle a bit later my thoughts were reinforced.

Naturally, I want to give Lawson the benefit of the doubt. He seems like a good guy and I don't recall any dirty plays from him throughout his career. However, I can't shake the belief that he may have had some ill intentions. For one, you always want to give a jump shooter room to land after a shot (just ask Kobe's thoughts when it happened to him this season). I do not believe Lawson gave Curry any landing space. From the angles I saw, Curry appeared mere inches away from rolling his bad ankle again. If Curry didn't flail his right foot out forward as crazy as he did, our outlook on this series would look much different on a already hobbled Curry and would've ruined the night. Secondly, Lawson and Curry were in the same draft class and there may be more competitiveness between them. Thirdly, Lawson just went off earlier in the quarter only to have Curry one up him just minutes later. Lastly, I just might be extremely paranoid and worrying about something I shouldn't be worried about.
I searched through every thread from GSoM and Denver Stiffs and was surprised to find no mention of this. What are your thoughts, GSoM? Possibly intentional or am I being paranoid?
