Denver Nuggets might be one of the Warriors tickets to the 2nd Round...

The sun is shining much brighter in the Bay Area

The Dallas Mavericks played the Denver Nuggets at home on 04.04.2013. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, they were struck once again with another injury. Danilo Gallinari to be exact, one of the Nuggets explosive scorers.

And according to sources:

We are hoping for a speedy recovery and that he will be back soon on the court.

But we have to face the facts, the Denver Nuggets are now without Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari and they are one of the teams that could match up with the Warriors. Now, I don't know if you guys could remember, but the first match up against the Nuggets was in Oakland on Nov. 10, 2012 and Gallinari was a HUGE reason that the Nuggets ultimately won that game (putting aside all of the mistakes by Klay Thompson). We still have to give the Nuggets some credit for hitting the shots that they did.

Gallinari started the game 1-10 (Not too sure, but I'm close) from the field and he ended up hitting the go ahead 3 pointer with 35.9 left in 2OT. If you take him out of the picture, the Nuggets becomes vulnerable (although, not as much due to their depth but that still helps)

And Ty Lawson, who could give Steph Curry some trouble due to his quickness, is expected to miss some playoff games due to a torn plantar fascia. And if you haven't watched the Nuggets play, he is our Stephen Curry. Lawson is what starts the team, ignites them and their leader. Although, Andre Miller, their backup PG, is an exceptional backup in terms of running the team. But this is where the Warriors has an advantage. There is no way that Andre Miller can stay with Stephen Curry, in terms of blocking or defending Curry's shot. Now it's just a matter of Steph not getting into foul trouble as Andre Miller likes to back up in the post a lot and Curry being the guy that likes to reach.

I still want the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round but it's looking like everybody in the league has figured them out and might not be able to catch the Nuggets but there is still hope with this recent injury. But, the brighter side, is that the Warriors have more than one favorable matchup in the playoffs.

P.S. I just want to thank everyone for reading. This is actually my first fanpost so PLS feel free to leave comments/criticism/praise about the post. I'd like to hear all of them!
