So the Golden State Warriors were unable to clinch head-to-head vs the Utah Jazz, but they are still in prime position to clinch tonight. A win against the Minnesota Timberwolves coupled with a loss by the Jazz (who are playing at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder) or a loss by the Los Angeles Lakers (who are playing at home against New Orleans Hornets), and they're in.
NOTE: I've made this Preview the Game Thread. COMMENT BELOW!!!

- Marcus Thompson on Stephen Curry's fourth-quarter woes.
- Kevin Love done for the year.
- Scouting report from Timberwolves' angle -- I'd have to disagree that the "key matchup" is Jarrett Jack vs Chase Budinger. What about Andrei Kirilenko vs David Lee? Nikola Pekovic vs Andrew Bogut? Steph vs Ricky Rubio?
Btw, Rick Adelman just won his 1,000th game. Thank goodness the opportunity didn't come up tonight!
The Houston Rockets are at home against the Phoenix Suns tonight with the Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings on the horizon. With OKC and the San Antonio Spurs coming up for the Dubs, this is another "must win".
Let's see how the Warriors respond. It's another one of those youth-y quirks. They won't admit to looking ahead in the schedule or looking at other teams', but they know how important this one is. On the other hand, these young Dubs tend to not really show their full potential until they REALLY are on the big stage. A regular season matchup against the Wolves has traditionally not been that big stage.
Again, this Preview is the Game Thread. Begin!...
