These trades do work cap-wise that I am proposing, but really they are based on Houston signing Dwight Howard.
Warriors trade Lee and rights to Kuzmic to Rockets for C Asik, PF Terrence Jones, and PG Beverly
Warriors then deal Bogut to Toronto for PF/C Bargnani.
The Rockets may think Lee would work better with Howard than Asik.
The Warriors were reportedly interested in Bargnani before the trade deadline and would not need Bogut if had Asik at center and Toronto seems like they will take anything for Bargnani.
The Warriors also were reportedly interested in Terrence Jones before taking Barnes and I do think Jones would be an ideal PF on the Warriors. Beverly also gives them a PG to replace Jack.
The Warriors could still buy a draft pick, a low 1st or high 2nd and take a guy like PF Jackie Carmichael from Ilinois St., whom I think would also be a nice PF option and provide some depth, especially if Landry leaves.
They'd look like this:
PG - Curry, Beverly, Machado
SG - Thompson, Rush, Bazemore
SF - Barnes, Green, Jeffferson
PF - T. Jones, Bargnani, Carmichael
C - Aski, Ezeli, Biedrins
But I doubt the Warriors would do even of these since they seem content with staying pat and just add a player or 2 without making major moves, which makes sense since their corp guys didn't play all that much together this year.
Maybe PG Maynor from the Blazers will be available if Jack does leave or maybe Devin Harris.
