Hey I have been batting ideas around in my head and think I may have found one that makes a bit of sense. This is obviously contingent on both Howard wanting to come to the Warriors and the Lakers being willing to make a deal with us, the second of which I am not at all certain they want to do. Anyway, here it is:
Warriors trade: David Lee, Andrew Bogut, Andris Biedrins, Richard Jefferson plus either 2 or 3 first round picks for Dwight Howard, PauGasol, Metta World Peace.
The money works and since the vast majority of the moving parts are on the final year of their contracts it would SEEM to be plausible to the Lakers as a 1 year hiccup before massive cap room if they are going to lose Howard anyway.
Anyway, this trade could also work if the Lakers so demanded to add in either Barnes or Thompson for Jordan Hill. I'm not so sure any of us want to do that, but...
So, dear GSOM community does this idea make any sense or is it complete fantasy? Feel free to rip it to shreds if that is the true consensus. I completely understand the zero to negative value of both Biedrins and Jefferson. Thanks.
