2014 Orlando 2nd Round Pick
Overall this deal seem quite fair to me for all teams involved. The only knock to the trade, in my opinion, is whether or not ORL/GS will want to give up their SF players involed. They both have high potential, and mean a lot to their corresponding teams. Bogut, at this point, should be a trade peice due to the Iggy trade. He is on the decline and getting Monroe(Double-Double Machine) allows them to keep starting Lee. He is an upgrade from Bogut in ever aspect of the game. On top of aquiring Monroe, GS receives Orlando's 2014 draft pick, which is of VERY VERY high value. Cap space is cleared for the Warriors and the depth would be settled.
Although Detroit takes the blunt of the salary in this deal, they are trying to win now. They are weak at the SG position(Knight is NOT a SG) and Afflalo more than fills that need. This deal also allows a very raw Andre Drummond to learn from a Vet in Bogut. It should cause some excitment for the fans, which is what I think management is going for considering they signed Josh Smith.
