So we have our fantastic 2013-14 roster almost set here in the halter-top-ball time of year. Roughly from 1 to 5 it includes Curry, Douglas, Nedovic, Bazemore, Thompson, Iguodala, Barnes, Green, Lee, Speights, O'Neal, Bogut, and Ezeli. That makes 13 players. So there is a guy recently become available that might be helpful at forward, even though he has high NBA mileage on his body. I don't think we need another guard, except maybe from the D-League later, when games are missed among those 13 guys, but a big bulky guy capable of scoring off the bench in more than one way if healthy might be more appealing. Salary space has dried up around the league at this point, and signing such a guy to a minimum contract seems like the kind of low-risk, high-reward gamble that the Miami Heat just took on Greg Oden. So this forward I have in mind, I think he is worth the 14th roster spot, and his name is Al Harrington. Thoughts?
