Ranking Author Rank Comment Marc Stein 9 (+1) It's not the wisest habit, obviously, but Sunday's rally in Portland (naturally on the road) marked the sixth time these Road Warriors won a game after falling behind by 15+ points. That's twice more than any other team and predictably followed another befuddling home L (Cleveland). Marc Spears 6 (+1) The Warriors have won a franchise-record 15 road games of their past 21. Golden State plays its next five games at home.
CBS Sports Matt Moore 5 (+2) The offense hits massive speed bumps, but they have so much firepower they keep rolling over things like a Humvee.
Pro Basketball Talk Kurt Helin 9 (-1) This team is a roller coaster Ñ they have an ugly home loss to the Cavaliers then an inspiring 18-point comeback against the Trail Blazers. Roller coaster is a nice way of saying they are inconsistent, which could come back to haunt them in the playoffs. John Schuhmann 6 (-1) The Warriors followed their worst loss of the season (at home to Cleveland) with what Mark Jackson called "as good a win as we've had in three years" in Portland on Sunday. Think their bench play matters? Steve Blake was a plus-36 in their two wins last week and a minus-46 in their two losses. Stephen Curry, meanwhile, was no better than a plus-2 and no worse than a minus-5 in the four games. David Aldridge 7 (-) Chance for the Warriors to really solidify themselves in the playoff race; Golden State won't leave home again until April 1, with five straight at Oracle over the next two weeks.
SB Nation Jason Patt 7 (-1) In consecutive games, the Warriors blew an 18-point lead and lost and came back from an 18-point deficit and won. Klay Thompson was the hero in the latter game, beating the Blazers with a late three.
Sheridan Hoops Andrew Kamenetsky 7 (+1) Sunday's huge comeback against the Blazers not only ended a bad streak but also put Dubs in prime position to nab a five seed. Matt Dollinger 8 (-1) The Blazers are ahead of the Warriors in the standings, but likely not for long. Golden State erased a 18-point deficit at Portland on Sunday and sliced Rip City's lead for the No. 5 seed to just 1.5 games. Guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson get the spotlight, but Andre Iguodala continues to contribute quietly in a significant way.
USA Today 8 (-1) Continuing to develop their new bench rotation led by Steve Blake and Jordan Crawford.
Average 7.2 (-)
