Ranking Author Rank Comment Marc Stein 11 (-2) Here's yet another Western Conference stalwart that's lucky to generate a sentence of MVP buzz because Kevin Durant and LeBron James have been that good: Steph Curry is on pace to become the only player since 1991-92 besides Gary Payton to average what he's averaging (24.1 PPG and 8.8 APG). Marc Spears 8 (-) The margin of error is slim in the West's playoff race. Not having Jermaine O'Neal available to play during the loss in Toronto because of a passport issue could haunt Warriors.
CBS Sports Matt Moore 12 (-2) They seem to think that they're going to shoot in every game like they did in the first round last season. That's not reality.
Pro Basketball Talk Kurt Helin 10 (-) They are 2-2 so far on a six-game road trip with the Pacers and Celtics remaining on the docket. So 3-3 looks possible. I thought Steve Blake was a great deadline move by the Warriors but he's been pretty meh so far, still trying to find his way in their systems. John Schuhmann 11 (-1) In games that haven't required a passport, Jermaine O'Neal has been pretty good. The early returns on Steve Blake are more mixed. He have the Warriors good minutes in Monday's win in Detroit, but they've scored less than a point per possession with him on the floor. They're just 2-2 on their six-game trip through the East, having been unable to score in Chicago or get stops in Toronto. David Aldridge 9 (-1) NBA stars: they're just like us!
SB Nation Jason Patt 11 (-4) Stephen Curry sure loves playing at Madison Square Garden. After a 54-point effort last year at The Garden, Curry had a triple-double through three quarters against the Knicks on Thursday, notching 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds
Sheridan Hoops Andrew Kamenetsky 8 (-) NBA's 3rd best defensive efficiency since February 1 (97.8). If the Dubs can sustain that success into the playoffs, theyÕll give a top 4 squad the heebie jeebies. Matt Dollinger 8 (-1) Stephen Curry scored 34 points but committed six turnovers in Sunday's loss to Toronto, the fourth stop on a six-game road trip. Curry leads the NBA with four turnovers per game and the Warriors are 8-9 when he has at least six.
USA Today 8 (-) Jermaine O'Neal has played 26 Canada road games. Even veterans can lose passports.
