There is a story on ESPN.com that Kevin Love's people informed the Timberwolves that Kevin Love will exercise his free agent status on 2015. The story mentioned that the Bulls and the Warriors intrigued Love. Many fans on talk radio (KNBR) have suggested to trade David Lee and Harrison Barnes for Love. It makes sense because Lee has the highest salary on the Warriors roster, and Harrison Barnes has an expiring rookie contract- so financially, it makes perfect sense. I approve of this proposal.
Question is; will the Timberwolves agree?
The Warriors do not have a draft pick (traded to the Jazz) so if the T'Wolves are looking for a pick the Warriors are out. If the T'Wolves want Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, or Andrew Bogut- then I say no way as a Warrior fan. Love will become free agent in 2015 and you risk losing one of your chore for nothing. Love is great offensively, but defensively- you have another David Lee. I would rather go after Luol Deng on a free agent market. Sign Darren Collison from Clippers as my back up point guard or Patrick Beverly from Houston.
Starting Line up: Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, Love, Bogut.
