Love to Cleveland 2

Watup Steve Kerr fans. I'ma go ahead and admit that 'Juggernaut Love to Cleveland' was somewhat ill-conceived. Had to offer better. Philly has landed three franchise building blocks: the Penny-esque MCW (many people might not remember that Penny's jumpshot was considered subpar when he came into the league), the Tyson Chandler-esque Noel, and the Olajuwon-esque Joel. So with two of those being bigs, and the 2015 draft big-ful (or big-fied if you prefer), it might not make much sense to tank again. Mudiay would be quite duplicative (duplicitous, however, who's to say) and what transcendent wing would be worth an entire nother season? The Sixers could go ahead and make the playoffs this season if they wanted to, all they would need is a couple snipers (easily obtained with assets like Moultrie, Wroten, and 2nd round picks) and a versatile established offensive big to complement the defensive stud Noel. An All-Star, perhaps? A great passer, perhaps? Preferably with 1 or 2 years left on his contract as Embiid becomes their franchise go- to scoring option inside? Would the Sixers, then, actually give up their 2015 1st rounder, protected, of course, for such a talent? Unlikely, you say? But less unlikely if they received others on rookie scale along with him, you would concede. And to do this, to make the playoffs the year after coming in 2nd-worst, the only actual player they would give up would be their highest-paid, who has been rumored to exit for some time now? Now that, Steve Kerr fans, would be downright feasible, no? Well guess what? I know of such a big man. He plays in the Western Conference. And on his team, there are three guys on rookie scale who would not harm their current team's success much if they left. Draymond Green is not one of those three guys. Also, there's Hilton Armstrong, so, you know, there's Hilton Armstrong or whatever. I won't name any names, but, as a Steve Kerr fan reading this, I don't need to. Minnesota gets: Thad Young, Waiters, 1st round 2015 protected picks from Golden State, Philadelphia, and Cleveland. Cleveland gets their wing defender next to LeBron in Corey Brewer and Kevin Love. Steve Kerr gets Andy Wiggins and Andy Varejao. The Splash Brothers stay together. Steve Kerr's bench: Livingston, Wiggins, Rush, (McAdoo), (Blatche), Kuzmic. Varejao Good bench, no? Good continuity, no? Good flexibility, no? Minnesota gets a great package, no? Cleveland doesn't gut their roster, no? Philly chills out on the D-Leaguers, no?
