Plan C

Ok, I am bored waiting for the W's to fill out the roster. Still no stretch 4. I've been looking at who is left out there. I found this blog on Michael Beasley.

I remember him being a great scorer in college ala Glen Robinson but also a bit of a ball hog. I've looked at trade options as noted in my "Plan B" post. So thought, what if we didn't make any trades at all and just signed Beasley? He's 6'10 with stretch 4 skills. Given his limited PT with Miami, I looked for additional articles with the Suns.

To address my concerns about ball hogging, I looked for some past articles and was suprised to find some things out that may be to our advantage in terms of signing him, he has history with Alvin Gentry and Jermaine ONeal. If all else, I think he may be a great addition at vet minimum without making a substantial trade. Here are some articles that speak to his coachability and ball sharing. Could be third time (plan C) is the charm? If nothing else he would be a proven scorer off the bench at the stretch 4, young AND a minimum contract. With very little risk. If Kerr is as good as we believe, as the articles note, he is open to passing maybe the same applies to defense? Are the Warriors one of the team vying for him?
