The Warriors face the Trail Blazers tonight in a potentially series-ending Game 4 in Portland, Oregon. As we've noted here, Steve Kerr is ailing, and will not coach in tonight's game. He'll be forced to watch from his hotel room across town. With his physical well being in such a state of flux, no one knows what the future holds for this Warriors squad. You'd think they'll come out strong and try and put this series away, if only to show solidarity with their coach.
However, Portland is a proud team as well, and almost pulled out the Game 3 victory at home. It took a massive comeback from the Warriors in the third quarter to seal the win. You know they'll be playing hard tonight. Their season is, quite literally, on the line.
What do you guys think? Can the Warriors pull off the sweep tonight? And if so, how deep can they go in the playoffs is Steve Kerr is forced to sit out the remainder of the year?
Update:
Durant will play tonight! Good news at last. Durant had been out with a calf strain during the last two games and had been listed as questionable for most of today. However, he's been cleared by the training staff and will start tonight, without a minutes restriction.
UPDATE: Kevin Durant (left calf strain) is available to play. Barnes (right ankle/foot) & Livingston (right index finger & hand) are out.
