This past summer, the Knicks offered Stoudemire to nearly every team in the league — "available for free," as one rival executive put it. But they found no takers because of his diminished production, his health and his contract, which has three years and $65 million remaining (counting this season) and which is uninsured against a career-ending knee injury. In February, the Knicks wanted to send Stoudemire to Toronto in a deal for Andrea Bargnani, a person briefed on the discussion said. But the proposal was vetoed by James L. Dolan, the Garden chairman, before it ever reached the Raptors (who would not have made the deal anyway, team officials there said). New York Times

Most Execs Would Trade 2013 Top Pick, Poll Says: Jeff Goodman of CBSSports.com surveyed 35 NBA executives, most of whom said they'd rather trade the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 draft than select from a thoroughly disappointing crop of prospects that lacks a franchise-changer like last year's No. 1, Anthony Davis (Twitter link). One GM called the field, "The worst I've ever seen."

Quick Q: I feel like I'm gonna be hated for asking this but whats the whole "Unstoppable Baby!" inside joke? Lol I have a few assumptions, but not 100% sure. Just to make this question seem less stupid/make me look like a fake fan ,I didn't get into Warriors Basketball, or Basketball as whole really, until a little while after I moved to California like 4 or 5 years ago. Course now I'm in New York and battling through time difference struggles to watch, but that's a different story. So, anyone care to explain?

There are a couple things really bothering about this team. The biggest one is RJ's role. Why does RJ still play at least 10 minutes a game?? Throw out Bazemore, play other people more (Barnes), even Jeremy Tyler. He has looked horrible game after game after game after game. He's washed up, he's old! I would understand it if its just at the end of basketball games because he has exp, but other than that, get him OFF the floor Mark Jackson!! And if you're gonna play him, don't give him the green light anymore lol don't call plays for him, etc. Other than that, I'm actually beginning to like MJ for some reason, seems to be doing better idk.

My frustration watching RJ misfire badly on a number of shots.

Biedrins said he's adopted the thinking he can't get his offensive groove back unless he puts up the shots in the game. He was 0-for-2 in the double- overtime loss to Denver. But he had another breakthrough: making a pair of free throws for the first time since Jan. 26, 2011 vs. New Orleans. He said the support of fans -- the encouragement he receives when he steps to the line, or the cheers he gets when his hustle leads to an extra possession -- are significant drops in his confidence bucket. "It's really nice. It just means they care about me," he said. "I heard some boos, but that's all right. That's normal. Obviously, I didn't have a great season before and they're kind of a (upset). That's OK. But it feels great that your home crowd is really behind you. They saw I was playing well and they give me more and more energy. It was an awesome feeling." San Jose Mercury-News

Drummond scores 22 points in 20 minutes and pulls down 9 rebounds against Oklahoma City. He was also 6 for 9 from the line. Not bad for a 19 year old rookie...Just think, we could have Drummond and Ezeli.

10. Harrison Barnes, SF, Warriors Barnes is not shining, but his team is playing well when he is on the floor. In fact, the Warriors are often playing their best offense with him at small forward, simply because he is making the easy plays and not trying to do too much. That has allowed him to keep his turnovers down. Barnes is playing both forward spots on offense and is so close to making a number of nice scoring plays, but he's just a little off on finishing. Expect big improvement from Barnes soon, as his coach is expertly putting him in spots that he should be able to excel in. 10. Klay Thompson's defense. As a long-range gunner with barely a season of NBA experience, Thompson just seems like a guy who should be a poor defender. But the more I watch him, the more he looks like a really solid defender. He moves around well, with a good understanding of rotations and the general team concept. He's a willing worker with good balance; he can close out hard on shooters while keeping his feet steady enough to prevent a blow-by drive. Thompson has a chance to be a really, really good all-around player.

Does anyone know what happened to Klay last night? It didn't seem that serious, but when Blake dove for the ball he hit Klay and made him slam his head into the floor. Then he never returned.... Surprised no ones been talkin about it.
