"WE BOOO!"

600_we_booo_copy_medium

Sorry this is a little late. I posted this on my T.psd Facebook page a few days ago as some light hearted comedy to Warriors fans. My wife and I were at the game when all the Boo's started pouring in on Joe Lacob this past Monday. Like many, I'm not the biggest fan of the teams ownership, I wish it didn't happen during Chris Mullin's jersey retirement night. Than again, I'm sure no one knew it was coming! With all the negative attention we're receiving nationally, we're pretty much famous for "WE BOOOO" regardless if it came from a small number of fans.

Hit that "Jump" button for a quick run down of the Warriors downward spiral from "We Believe" to "We Suck" and our current situation!

Dallas Mavericks Sign Kelenna Azubuike

According to Marc Stein:

Azubuike will receive a deal for the rest of this season and a team option for next season and will start his comeback with the Frisco-based Texas Legends, Dallas' D-League affiliate, sources said. He is expected to practice with the Legends on Friday and could play for them as early as Saturday night against the Maine Red Claws at home.

I think you'll all agree with me when I wish Buike the very best and hope that he completes his comeback. We could sure have used a healthy Buike these past few seasons.

Warriors Sign Mickell Gladness After Missing Out On J.J. Hickson

Photo

(SB Nation Bay Area, Avinash Kunnath) Many believe the Golden State Warriors are not going to take the last month of the season quite as seriously as other teams. The Monta Ellis trade made it easy to think that the Warriors were giving up on this season and the team would be moving to focus on the draft.

This next signing probably won't boost too much confidence for Golden State fans. Warriors.com made the announcement that they signed Mickell Gladness to a 10-day contract.

GSoM Question of the Day: Would You Trade the 27th, 36th, and 50th Draft Picks for the 8th Pick In the 2012 Draft?

We've heard some rumors that Larry Riley is "trying like the dickens" to keep our 2012 lottery pick from going to Utah. One of the possible scenarios could have us sending our 3 other draft picks to Utah. Here, I'm going to present some evidence using the past 20 years of draft picks that might influence your vote. So don't make your decision until you read the story.

Warriors Aftermath Links: Everyone's talking about Joe Lacob getting booed

Not surprisingly, the talk around the media is all about Joe Lacob getting booed. So here's all the audio and stories this morning about the booing. This includes Joe Lacob himself coming on KNBR.

If more stuff comes later in the day, I'll add those in. Tomorrow, let's get back to the games, er, "games".

How The Warriors Will Try To Keep The NBA Draft Lottery Pick They Owe Utah

Just prior to the NBA trade deadline, Golden State Warriors GM Larry Riley suggested that there might be hope for the team to keep their 2012 NBA Draft pick instead of sending it to the Utah Jazz if it falls outside of the top 7 picks in the lottery.

Today, Contra Costa Times reporter Marcus Thompson II elaborated on what that might entail.

Warriors Set To Sign J.J. Hickson, Where Will He Play?

(SB Nation, Scott Schroeder) J.J. Hickson didn't have the most wonderful career with the Sacramento Kings, but he's set for a new beginning following the agreement of a contract buyout on Monday. That new beginning will reportedly come with the Golden State Warriors.

Hickson will still have to clear waivers, but assuming nobody wants to pay him the prorated amount of roughly $2.5 million for the remainder of the season, CSN's Matt Steinmetz is reporting that the Warriors plan to sign him.
