2014 NBA free agency rumors: Kent Bazemore searching for 'a chance to prove' himself

"It was an unfortunate situation for myself with Golden State, I did make the team, but they were so guard heavy... I was fortunate enough to go down to LA, where there were a lot of minutes out there on the floor and I was able to kind of show [what I can do]... My [sample] size is very small. I just need a chance to prove myself again, so minutes are definitely the first thing I’m after. Everything else is just basketball. You hear a lot of guys talking about the bad cities of the NBA and all of that, but a guy like me, I just want another opportunity to go out there and show that I can really be a great player in this league."

From Bazemore Weighs Free Agency Options via Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders.

The Golden State Warriors are among the teams pursuing free agent Kent Bazemore, but their already-crowded guard rotation makes it extremely unlikely that he'll return to the Bay.

In any event, the whole interview is great - it's really hard not to root for this guy.

Let's dream about getting LeBron together

Like everyone else, I've been thinking of ways for LeBron to join my favorite team. Obviously it's unlikely that LeBron leaves Miami and even more unlikely for him to come to Golden State but...

If No Love, What then?

I'm a big chemistry guy. I too would love to get Kevin Love but not for Thompson. Watching the Spurs win the championship against a more super star team tells me there is something to be said for...
