This is how it will go down this season:

Eastern Conference Champ Miami Heat		Young teams get their fans' hopes up. Older teams win titles.

Western Conference Champ Phoenix Suns		Our friends at SunsGossip think the Suns are going 82-0. That's probably not going to happen, but with Amare dunking on fools this should be the year they break from the Western Conference pack

NBA Finals Champ Miami Heat		Anything to get Pat Riley to dance to Yung Joc again!

MVP Kobe Bryant		Kobe was robbed last season. He knows it. Phil knows it. Steve Nash knows it. And you know it. He's going to play like a man possessed this year. Not that he doesn't do that every season.

Coach of the Year Don Nelson		If you can take the Warriors to the promised land (in the Bay Area we call that the 8th seed in the playoffs and a first round sweep), you're good enough for Coach of the Century in the NBA.

Rookie of the Year Brandon Roy		Roy for ROY just sounds hot.

6th Man of the Year Earl Boykins		The man's so good he makes killin' elephants cool.

Most Improved Player Dwight Howard		In a few years he'll be competing for MVP honors.

Comeback Player of the Year Dajuan Wagner		Look out for that floater and more on this feel good story! Amare could win it too.

Executive of the Year John Paxson (Bulls)		The Bulls' moves this offseason were a little overrated, but they were still pretty solid.

Bulls example for Warriors

First the Bulls aquiring Wallace 15 M and losing do-nothing Tyson Chandler 10M is huge. Noone thought the franchise player would leave and he's only 5M more than Chandler.

Second, Bulls added 8 news guys to the roster including probably the best draft prospect five years hence, Tyrus Thomas. Nellie would die to have Tyrus.

Meanwhile, we GSW fans talked about a possible Marvin Ely trade, Miami got one year older and Detroit lost their core player.

Bulls coach Scott Skiles copied Nellie's old school small ball and was lucky enough to have the NBA rules change to favor perimeter players.

MVP: Lebron James (tough choice between him, Arenas, and Nowitzki)
Coach of the Year: Don Nelson (was there any doubt that he would get this for the fourth time?)
Rookie of the Year: Adam Morrison (Next Larry Bird? Probably not... but he does have a knack for scoring)
6th Man: Boris Diaw (will end up going to the bench and should have this award in the bag)

Miami Heat (Only the champs can knock themselves off of this pedestal)

West Champs:
Houston (Watch out for Steve Novak's sweet shot. Oh yeah, they got some shlubs names TMac and Yao something?)

Nellie (We got to win SOMETHING this year)

JRich will be awarded the sportsmanship award
Dunleavy will win most improved player award
Wagner will be comeback plaer of the year
Pietrus will be the defensive player of the year
Ellis will win the 6th man award
Diogu and Ellis will be in the Rook vs Soph game
Foyle will be awarded the Kennedy Citizenship Award
