new york daily news says the warriors are offering BD, beans and one more for iverson and a backup center! nooooooooooo!!!

Earlier in trade talks, Golden State had been trying to move veterans with long-term deals, including Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy and Adonal Foyle. But the Sixers asked for Biedrins - a third-year player who turns 21 in April - Monta Ellis or Mickael Pietrus. If the deal with Golden State goes through, it will allow Iverson to play in Don Nelson's freewheeling offensive system. The Warriors feel that Iverson would give them a great chance to get into the playoffs for the first time since 1994.

quick everyone - call mullin and tell him no-go - when have the dubs ever had a center of the future? don't we have four star guards???

Forget it!!

If GW makes this trade I'm out of here after following them since the early 1970's!! Letting AB go for an aging AI would put CM in the same league as that dummy Thomas of the knick knacks.
I hope it is just a rumour being spread to up the price on AI. Then again maybe Mullin plans on playing AI at center.

resounding "no" to including Beedy

even the most ardent supporter of bringin AI west to GS wouldn't include Beidrins in this deal ...

Mullin can't be that stupid, can't be, and even if he is, Nelson will veto it

I called, just fyi, they will try to patch you to the PR dept and get an answering machine - ask for Mullin or Hig'ns and see what you get ... in any case CALL who knows, it couldn't hurt for the brass to hear from the fans directly ... think about the impact of the GSoM fanbase on the phones to GSW ...

letting go of biedrins would be on the level of letting go of robert parish. ok maybe i'm getting ahead of myself, but beans will be a top 5 center in the league very soon
