A.I. = Doesn't want NorCal... SORRY!
Marc Stein reports that the word in the front-offices around the league is that Iverson's camp does not want him moved to NorCal/TheBay.
What they're also saying in front-office circles: Iverson's camp got word to Sacramento and Golden State that he's not in a rush to relocate to Northern California, either.

DAMMIT!

It's all good
My guess is that the majority of NBA players don't want to play for the Warriors. As much as we luv the squad, the reality is that they aren't on the NBA map. As Fuzzy will tell you people on the East Coast and Midwest don't even know who the Warriors are. The blame for that one rests solely on the shoulders of Warrior owner Chris Cohan.

It was because of his mom....
If Iverson was to play out here in the west,
That's a very good reason for him to sign with charlotte. Pretty nice area to move mom to and much closer to philly than Oaktown is. But if mama Iverson every came out here to check us out I'm sure she'd love this area.

ironic, you put AI on the warriors and we are on the map. Maybe even in line to attract say KG from the Wolves at midseason for say, JRich & Co.

Iverson doesn't have as much say as you think
Basically, after the Alonzo Mourning - Raptors fiasco, the league reserves the right to suspend players who refuse to report to their new team after a trade. Iverson of course still does have influence because a team may be afraid to take on an unhappy expensive player, but he doesn't have absolute say in his final destination.
Iverson never said he didn't want to come...
