Rumor: Baron Davis + Andris Biedrins for Allen Iverson Package Reports Were Bogus

ESPN.com's Chad Ford fielded several hundred (seems like it!) Allen Iverson questions in his chat this morning. From all your comments it sounds like many of you will be happy to read this:

tim(california): Iverson/Webber/Hunter for Baron/Pietrus/Murphy and Foyle . Deal or no deal Chad ?

Chad Ford: Wow. Nellie reunited with Webber. Ugh. Not sure why Philly would want to replace one headache (AI) with another Baron. Pietrus and Iguodala are too alike. Foyle and Murphy are overpaid. Yeah, nothing to really like here. By the way, I'm told that reports that Baron Davis and Andris Biedrins "almost" going to Philly are totally bogus. The Warriors have interest in AI, but aren't giving away Biedrins.

I'll be honest- part of me really wants to see things come full circle with Nellie and CWebb reunited. It's the only way to break the 12 year curse! Let's get Spree too!

I wouldnt ever want
to see Webber come back here.
but signing spree to a 10 day come jan.5th might not be a bad idea. let Jrich heal and give spree a little trial run.

Biedrins and Mullin
Forever linked!:
Biedrins was the first player since Chris Mullin on January 18, 1996 to score 20 points without missing a shot.
