What's Golden?

Coming to you LIVE from SBNation it's...

GOLDEN STATE OF MIND!!

It's the Golden State Warriors BLOG crew, but now part of the world famous SBNation. We're happy and honored to be part of the Nation. It's a big step forward.

And introducing the Starting 5 for YOUR GOLDEN STATE OF MIND...
Atma Brother ONE: From #1 to just ONE (like MC Hammer -> Hammer -> MC Hammer)
DJ Fuzzy Logic: This future professor drops science on the regular
Fantasy Junkie: Like the NBA, he's FANtastic!
Hash: Fresh and funnier than Comedy Central
YaoButtaMing: Provides inside access to the Warriors

For those of you who are new to our hyphy style, make sure to check out our past work over at the Golden State Warriors BLOG. There's tons of fun stuff in the archives over there.

For our friends who have traveled with us from our old spot to our new home here at SBNation...

What's going to change? Not much! We're still going to drop Warriors new, hype, rumors, humor, science, history, and fashion in the HYPHY-EST way possible.

What's different? Expression. One of the biggest reasons we made the move to SBNation was because they have historically been a great forum for fans to have a voice (definitely create a DIARY) and discuss (our COMMENTS threads will be much more vibrant).

And remember... WE'RE A GREAT TIME OUT!

I'm like a proud mother
I'm so proud to see the "Golden State of Mind" name used for the Warriors blog.  When do I get the commemorative plaque?

There needs to be a Golden State of Mind song made in general.  A west coast anthem to kick billy joel's ny lovin' ass.

Glad to see the new blog up.  I'm going to be here daily so I thought I'd make myself comfortable.

Go W's!

Hey, brothers.
Hello from Sactown.

It's great to have another Norcal blog added to the SBN mix. And, as Deadspin agreed, you guys are fantastically entertaining.

I promise not to make too many jokes when Bum D.'s back goes bad. And ignore those footsteps... it's just the Kings jogging into fourth place.

Good luck with the site.

Bah. Deadspin. They wouldn't know a good blog if it bit 'em on the ass.

Bah, again. I have it on good authority Artest is quitting after the break to promote a CD from his new label.

Props to jdotcob
J.Cob- Fantasy Junkie and I were talking last night about how to show our appreciation to you. How does a signed Dunleavy poster from us sound? Hahaha, we'll think of something.

But in the meantime- you are the FIRST POST EVER at the Golden State of Mind.

You should def look into creating a Diary.

PEACE.

I don't see an RSS Feed on any of the other SBN Blogs, any possibility of getting one like the the old site?

Hey Guys
I've been a lurker on your previous blog since the draft. I frequent Athletics Nation so it's good to see you on the SB Nation. I suspected you guys might be coming here when you asked for blog name ideas. Great to have you here.

by gojohn10 on Feb 2, 2006 5:07 PM PST   0 recs

You guys
are gonna get a lot of Athletics Nation members - being advertised on their front page and all.  Speaking of which, Hi, I'm WEG, and I just heard about your inclusion into SBNation from AN.  Go Warriors!

Are there game threads?
Tonights game sure was depressing.  Again.

by WhiteElephantGuy on Feb 2, 2006 11:38 PM PST   0 recs

Game Thread?
Do you mean for discussion during the game? That's a good idea. We usually post detailed recaps  within a day or two of the game, but it's a good idea to have in game discussion as well.

We'll work on that. Thanks for the suggestion!

diary
all you've got to do is create a new diary a little before the game, and let it go from there

i got invited to the game tonight, but had to stay home sick.  i think i'm glad i didn't have to sit through a car ride home after that debacle of an ending

murph really screwed up by not boxing out duncan at the end.  those free throws after the offensive rebound were killer

by booya on Feb 3, 2006 12:34 AM PST to parent up   0 recs

Trade
What's up with Murphy he actually played like a PF last night (trade bait). Biedrens 9 rebounds 8 points in 28 minutes looking good last two games. Good bye Foyle.

How about Murphy and Dunleavy for Garnett?? Still could use a center but a lineup with Davis, Richardson, Garnett and Pietrus could generate some scary moments.

and now I have an account.
