OPEN THREAD: Game #67 - Warriors at Mavs

Warriors (W-L): 28-38

Mavs (W-L): 53-15

Time: 5:30PM tip off

The Dubs face the scorching hot Mavs in Dallas tonight on National TV (TNT). Let's hope the Miller sisters aren't covering this one.

Prediction #1: Warriors by 1

Prediction #2: No matter what happens, Golden State of Mind favorite Avery Johnson is going to give a great post game interview.

Avery breaking Yao's ankles

We have a whole offseason to debate about what changes should be made to end the infamous 12 year streak. The quickest solution would be to get rid of the clowns and bring in this guy:

Like Wu-Tang Clan: "Can't it all be so simple"

Not on TNT
The game is on NBATV. It's FSN+ for the Yay Area.

No wonder...
Yao is slow.

His ankles never healed from getting broken by Avery.

booyahshaka
wow, 10 points in the last 18 sec! I'll make a comeback- we'll make a run for the 8th seed and knock off the Mavs in the 1st round-  a la the Jazz upsets in the 80's.

Is Dun the future or increasing his trade value?
4 20 point games / in first 63 games
3/in last 4 -  21points, 8boards, 4.3assists/game

Hopefully increases trade value
We've seen him do this year after year. He steps it up when the games are meaningless. I said to Fantasy Junkie today when we were watching the game: Dunleavy looks like he's actually trying for once.

Hopefully some teams take notice and are fooled into thinking he's a good player.

You've got to be kidding. . .
I was trying to guess -- how critique Dunleavy after this game?  Well, you figured it out: meaningless game.  Good thinking.  Tell that to JR -- who needed last night's game more than anyone.  Oh well.

Sorry man
JR's been bringing it all season. Dun was decent at the end of last season when the games were meaningless. He's doing the same thing this season.

My point wasn't to knock Dunleavy, but to say that hopefully this increases his trade value. It's a win-win situation. Trust me none of us cheer him on to suck.

By the way- honest question: Are you related in some way or friends with Dunleavy? You passionately defend a guy who has been a bust and a locker room problem (calling out teammates, coaches, fans, and the media- but never taking any responsibility).
