NBA Draft 2006: With the #38 pick, the Golden State Warriors take...

Kosta Perovic!

Ugh. What the??? Another 7 foot stiff? Can't believe they passed on Powe. Perovic may never even make it to the nba. What a waste. Even his highlights were uninspiring. Maybe Mully knows what he's doing...or not.

1st Rounder
I remember seeing him pop up in mock drafts as a 1st rounder a year or 2 ago. He might be decent, but they ESPN guys said he's a poor rebounder and not a defensive presence- 2 thing the Warriors need.

Why not Powe? The Warriors worked him out too. Powe might be better than POB.

Is this guy better than your sleeper?
The link if you haven't seen it already GSOM readers!

Probably not. So we're overloaded with 4's and 5's who are in need of experience and some years to grow.

Time to trade with another team who views anyone who is a 7 footer a must have?

Still Sleeping!
Fantasy Junkie's sleeper is still on the board. The Warriors should make move!

Who's this guy?
How many projects do we need for the Center spot? Let's count shall we? Chris Taft, Andris, Patrick O'Bryant, and now this dude? Should've drafted a SF or someone recognizable, such as Dee Brown or Leon Powe. If the Raptors didn't take him, the Warriors should've snatched PJ Tucker, but something tells me they wouldn't have anyways.

the bay loves projects
OK.... so we will end our playoff drought with project patrick and a 7'2" who can't even rebound?

Where is the potential
Why not pick somebody with any potential of upside?  Dee Brown, Powe, even Hassan Adams.  I couldn't be more dissapointed with this wasted pick.  There is no reason not to take a project type wing who would walk in the door and bring as much to the table as the current 3's on the roster.

Once I saw they drafted this guy...
I turned off my TV in disgust. Take Hassan Adams! Wing player, good defence, can dunk, very athletic! Only prob he's 6'4", but he could still beat out Dunleavy.

Ugh!
This is exactly the kind of pick I was hoping Mullins wouldn't make.  Are we ever gonna get out of this mess?

I HATE YOU VOTERS
WHY DID YOU GUYS VOTE FOR PATRICK O BRYANT????!? DAMNITTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Haha...it's all coming back to bite us in the ass
You all are exactly right...I have no idea what we had accomplished in today's draft. It does seem like Mullin models his choices on what we vote on here...so why the hell did you guys choose O'Bryant? Now we have to go through another season making excuses for the Warriors. It's so damn hard cause it just seems that the Warriors deserve success more than anyone. We keep under the radar...none of our players cause trouble...our fans are amazing and obviously faithful. When is it our turn damnit?

This pick...
This pick would have been alright, if the Warriors hadn't already picked O'Bryant. Don't worry, at least future MVP Mike Dunleavy Jr. didn't get traded away.
